The Reer Cabinet & Drawer lock with Finger Trap Protection (71010) is an advanced inside child lock for drawers and cabinet doors.
This Reer lock has an integrated finger lock protection mechanism that comes into action when the closed drawer or cabinet door is opened. A secondary catch prevents the door or drawer from closing onto a child fingers after they attempt to open the door or drawer but is not able to do so because of the lock.
An adult can easily disengage the lock using their fingers through the narrow opening when they need to open or close the compartment.
